Overview

A parliamentarian’s duty is to debate and pass laws, scrutinise budgets and bills, and represent their
people. To complete this role dutifully, representatives must build their knowledge of parliamentary
processes, accountability to serve, and capacity to scrutinise and make good decisions.

Our course on Professional Parliamentary Standards will help attendees build their capacity as a parliamentarian or
as a parliamentary staff member. The course is curated to establish a complete parliamentarian
by teaching the fundamentals of parliamentary processes, committees, and budgeting. Our courses
are suitable for new and experienced parliamentarians, as well as support staff and clerks working in
and around parliament.
