Overview

Strategic Regulation Masterclass

The latest OECD Regulatory Policy Outlook 2025 shows that 82% of member countries require better systemic stakeholder engagement when making regulations to ensure a broad range of voices, particularly those impacted, are included in interventions. Regulators all over the world need to be more inclusive throughout the regulatory cycle, including encouraging and actioning feedback for continued improvements.

In addition to this, 41% must consider more agile design options when developing or reforming regulations. Incorporating greater flexibility, in the form of sandboxes, regulatory experimentation and non-regulatory approaches, will allow regulators to keep pace with fundamental changes in the way societies and economies function.

These topics form the foundation of our ‘Strategic Regulation Masterclass’ training course. The immersive three-day programme provides participants the tools to evaluate existing, new and emerging regulatory frameworks, examine the impact of differing policy interventions, analyse how best to involve multiple stakeholders in the regulatory process, and consider the right balance of intervention vs non-intervention.

Through a combination of guided learning from our experts, shared experiences among peers and best practice case studies, regulators and regulatory consultants will complete the course better equipped to analyse the risks and rewards of effective regulation, ensuring the best outcomes for markets alongside high levels of compliance.
