International Centre for Policy and Governance Ltd (‘We’, ‘us’, ‘our’) collect, use and are responsible for storing certain personal information about you (‘you’, ‘your’, ‘yours’).

This section describes how the above types of personal information are collected by us. Your personal information will be collected as follows:

  1. Personal information obtained from you directly, including when you:
    • enquire about our products, purchase a product, use our contact channels, create a customer account, register for a course, register to complete a certificate programme, enrol and partake in programmes, training and services, require a consultation regarding your needs, require group training or consultancy for your organisation, access our online resources, request a quote for a service or produce, fill in a form on our site, call us about an enquiry, completing a feedback form or survey, to handle a complaint or report a problem with the site.
  2. Personal information obtained by use of cookies or other automated means
    • We will sometimes obtain information via automated technology. This shall be by use of cookies and other similar technology. A cookie is a small text file which is placed onto your computer or electronic device when you access our website. Similar technologies include web beacons, action tags, local shared objects (‘flash cookies’) and single-pixel gifs. Such technologies can be used to track users’ actions and activities, and to store information about them. Usually this will be in order to monitor and obtain information regarding:
        • Number of times a user has visited the website, the traffic data, location data, pages visited, content engaged with on the site

    • We will sometimes obtain information about you from third party sources. Usually this shall be from the following entities:

        • Public identity and contact information found on public websites, provided by phone communication or the use of data brokers

How long your personal information will be kept
  • Your personal information will only by kept for the period of time which is necessary for us to fulfil the above purposes
  • We envisage that your personal information shall be retained by us for the following:
      • We will only retain your personal information as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for and in line with legal, accounting and reporting purposes
      • We regularly review our information and erase or anonymise personal data where it is no longer needed by the organisation
  • After the period described above, your information shall be properly deleted or anonymised
Keeping your information safe
  • We will ensure the proper safety and security of your personal information and have measures in place to do so. We will also use technological and organisation measures to keep your information secure. These measures are as follows:
      • All data is stored on secure servers. It should be noted that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive for commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its full security. As such, we can make no guarantees as to the level of security afforded to your data, except that we will always act in accordance with relevant UK and EU legislation
Use of your information internationally
  • Your personal information may be transferred internationally to:
      • Other participants partaking in the international trainings and workshops and to assist in the fostering of international networks and shared best practice
      • Information will be shared directly with other attendees on the courses. Other transfers will happen only with you approval
